Engines
Lumen currently queries ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini live. More engines (Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, AI Mode, Copilot and others) are on the roadmap and added as they gain traction - the Engines panel shows what is live for your account.
What a scan records
For every active prompt on every engine, Lumen stores the full answer and extracts:
- which brands are mentioned (yours, competitors, and any others the answer names),
- the order brands appear in, when the answer ranks them,
- sentiment toward your brand,
- the sources the answer cites.
Cadence
Scans run automatically on a weekly schedule, and you can trigger one manually at any time with Run scan. Manual and scheduled scans are identical.
History
Every scan is kept in the Scans tab, so you can open any past run, browse its raw answers in Monitor, and compare movement between runs. Time-series charts on the dashboard are built from this history.
