Boosters are Lumen's recommendations engine. After a scan, the Boosters tab fills with concrete actions, each grounded in your own data rather than generic advice.
Anatomy of a booster
- Target - the prompt or funnel segment it aims to improve, or the site as a whole.
- Why it matters - the numbers behind it: your appearance rate on the prompt, who is winning it, what the answers cite.
- Recommendation - the specific action to take, with a content type: a blog post, FAQ, schema markup, listicle placement, press release, and so on.
- Expected outcome - what should move if you do it.
- Priority - high, medium, or low impact, so you know where to start.
New vs In Actions
The board has two views: New - fresh recommendations you have not committed to - and In Actions - boosters already on the Actions board. Regenerate replaces only the New view. Anything you have committed to Actions is kept, every time, until you remove it from the board yourself.
From booster to action
Boosters are a backlog of ideas. When you commit to one, move it to the Actions board - that is where briefs, drafts, and status tracking live. See Working the Actions board. Cluster action-plan assets sent to Actions land on the same board.
